Lacura beauty mosiac baked blush bronzer
I recently bought these 2 Lacura beauty baked blush bronzers from Aldi in beach babe and bronze goddess. They say on the instructions to apply to cheeks or for a more sunkissed look to forehead, cheeks, nose and chin which is more of a highlight. I haven't tried these yet but i have swatched them and one thing that makes me concerned about using them as a highlight is they have chunks of glitter in them :( which is not what you want as you will end up with it all over your face and like a disco ball.
LACURA BEAUTY BAKED BLUSH/BRONZER Beach babe $10.00
This one is more Gold. In the case it looks bronze with gold through it but it comes out gold with specks of glitter.
LACURA BEAUTY BAKED BLUSH/BRONZER Bronze goddess $10.00:
This one is a pinky bronze which i love as a highlight but the glitter puts me right off. I haven't yet tried but as soon as i see glitter i get dissapointed. In the pan this one looks like a champagne pink with bronze through it.
PROS:
- Only $10 for a bit of product
- Look beautiful
CONS:
- Can see specks of glitter
- Wont be in stock for long so once they are gone their gone \
- Case is weird to open
As i said i haven't tried out on face just yet but will comment below once i have but my thoughts so far are crap! Not worth it as the glitter will make you look like a disco ball and not naturally glowy. The case is also weird to open.
I will have a youtube video coming up soon so keep your eyes peeled.

Lacura beauty duo blush 06 soft rose review
This is another Lacura beauty review from Aldi. It is for their duo blush in 06 soft rose. I found this in Aldi and was swatching the products and noticed this blush was really soft, i liked the idea od being able to use one or the other colours or mix them together which is how i like to use it as it gives the most beautiful light pink shade.
When i first opened the package i was shocked to find only half the case is filled with blush and the other half has one of those brushes you never use but for $5.00 how could i complain. I wore it today and it lasted all day on the cheeks so im one happy customer and hoping to try more shades :)
LACURA BEAUTY DUO BLUSH 06 soft rose $4.99:
PROS:
- Silky soft
- Not chalky
- Cheap
- Lasts all day
- Colour options
CONS:
- Not always available
- Can only find it at Aldi
- Not much product
- Crappy brush which i would prefer to be product
Overall im happy and would purchase again. I will use it up quick but will def be repurchasing since this is a beautiful colour, i will also try other colours :) Will do a youtube video on it soon so keep your eyes peeled.

Maybelline master HiLight highlighting bronzer and blush review
I purchased 4 of the new Maybelline Master HILIGHT, they are hi lighting blushes and bronzers. I was really impressed with the first one i bought that i went and got the other colours :) the shades i purchased were 50 light bronze, 30 coral, 60 deep bronze and 20 pink rose.
I have to say pink rose is my favourite :) here is a pic of me wearing it as a highlighter:
60 DEEP BRONZE hilighting bronzer $19.99:
This colour is probably the least favourite out of the 4 that i have. It might be a nice bronzer but i dont usually wear shimmery bronzers. It doesn't work as a highlight on my skin tone. It has burgundy, brown, champagne and bronze.
50 LIGHT BRONZE hilighting bronzer $19.99:
This one says it is a bronzer like the one above but its not as dark and bronzer like. It has more of a glow that can be used as a highlight rather than bronzing. This one has light pink, cream, pinky champagne and brown.
30 CORAL hilighting blush $19.99:
This one says it can also be a blush or blush topper. The colours through this one are champagne, browny pink, light bronze and light brown.
20 PINK ROSE hilighting blush $19.99:
This one again says blush or blush topper and is my favourite to wear as a highlight on the tops of my cheekbone. It has shimmery white, bronzy pink, browny pink and burgundy pink.
PROS:
- Can use many colours either together or on their own
- Can find on special many places
- Many different uses, blush, blush topper, highlight, bronzer
- Shimmery but not glittery
CONS:
- Colours will blend together if swirled in too much
- Powder gets everywhere in pan
- No testers where i went and some don't suit my skin tone
Overall i love them and would repurchase, if i had it over though i would stay away from the darker bronzer ones and stick to the light shimmery highlighting ones :)
I hope to do a youtube video on these soon so keep your eyes peeled.

Sukin australian natural skincare range review
I just recently purchased 4 products from the brand Sukin Australian Natural Skincare. To give you an overview of my skin, i am very dry and eczema prone skin. I recently have eczema on my eyelids and in corners of eyes which means i can rarely wear eye makeup :(
I was looking for rosehip oil as i heard it was good for eczema and needed something i could put near my eyes. I came across this brand in Priceline and they had a sale on :) I bought their sensitive cleansing lotion, certified organic rosehip oil, sensitive calming night cream and rosehip hydrating day cream.
Sensitive Cleansing Lotion: 125ml $9.99 Priceline
This is a great cleanser, because it is a lotion when you wash it off it leaves a layer of product still on the face making it feel hydrated and not stripped of all your natural oils. I need this as my face is so dry and flaky. Probably wont be good for extremely oily skin because you might feel more oily but i love it on my skin. I got it on special $7.00 at priceline BARGAIN!
PROS:
- Great price
- Doesn't strip skin
- Comes in pump bottle
- Light scent
- Good for dry skin
CONS:
-Not all shops stock everything
-Some people might not like the earthy scent
-Might not be great for oilier skin
Certified Organic Rosehip Oil : 25ml $19.99 Priceline
This was the reason i found this brand. I was looking for pure rosehip oil for my eczema on my eyes. They were itchy and flaky and dry. The oil is great, has a very distinctive smell, some people wont like it but i don't mind it.
I was putting it on my face day and night before my moisturiser but found it was getting a litter too much for during the day and breaking me out a little.
Now i use it at night and i mix it in with my moisturiser and during the day i only use a little on my eyelids and inner corner where my eczema is the worst, my skin drinks it up pretty quick because its so dry. My skin feels so soft after using it and it is doing wonders for eczema. I picked this up for $15.99 so look out for sales.
PROS:
-Makes skin soft
-Hydrates my eczema prone skin
-Has a dropper
-Doesn't feel super oily on skin
CONS:
-Has a distinctive scent, some may not like
-Small bottle for price as i use on legs also
-Glass bottle (not great with kids around and oil is slippery)
Sensitive Calming Night Cream: 120ml $19.99
I got this one because i needed a good night cream that i could use with my rosehip oil. This one caught my eye because it was for sensitive skin and also calming which by night time my skin is so sore from itching my eczema all day :(
I find that its not heavy enough, i have used another one from akin that stings my skin but is really rich and heavy which is what i love in a night cream. The sukin night cream doesnt irritate my skin and i wake up with soft skin.
PROS:
-Lightly scented
-Hydrates skin
-Leaves skin and lips soft
-Doesn't irritate skin
-I can use over eye area
CONS:
-Would like it more thick and rich
Rosehip Hydrating Day Cream: 120ml $23.99
I actually purchased this one in a set with the rosehip oil so it is not a sensitive one. I needed a good daytime moisturiser that would keep my skin hydrated during the day without being too oily. This is great, its nice and light but gives me enough hydration which i need. It doesn't irritate my eczema either.
PROS:
-Light but hydrating
-Sinks in quickly
-Light scent
CONS:
-Might be too light for some
-Earthy rosehip scent wont be everyone's favourite :)
Overall i love this brand, it doesn't irritate my skin and is slowly helping my eczema and extremely dry skin. I would love to try out their shampoo and conditioner next because they don't use harsh ingredients :)

L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper review
I recently purchased LÓreal new eyebrow mascara. It is the Brow Artist Plumper and retails for $18.95 however you can always find sales in stores that stock this brand and pick it up alot cheaper.
I think it is defiently worth the price though. It is an eyebrow mascara as i said before but it has tiny fibres in it to help thicken your eyebrows and also gives great colour to fill in any blank spots.
I got it in Medium/dark and i love using it on its own for days where im in a hurry or on top of my drawn on eyebrows for extra colour and helps keep hair in place. It does come in other shades. It lasts on me all day and the mini wand applicater is AMAZING and great size.
PROS:
- Long lasting
- Quick and easy
- Gives colour and thickness
- Hold hairs in place
- Doesnt leave eyebrows crunchy feeling
- Natural looking
- Mini brush is awesome
CONS:
- Havent used long enough to see whether it goes clumpy at the end (hopefully not)
Thanks for reading and check out my youtube for more infor on this product.

LACURA BEAUTY ALDI MAKEUP
I have had the pleasure to purchase and use the lacura beauty makeup and brushes from Aldi. They might only be limited time as Aldi often only stocks for a few weeks before getting new things in. I was extremly happy with the products and the price.
Lacura Beauty Eyeshadow Palette- $10.00
This is a great Palette for only $10. The colours werent too pigmented but i find that is good because you can build them up. Some are better than others. These are all shimmer shadows but some come off more matte with only a tiny bit of shimmer. Overall for the price i was happy.
PROS:
- Price
- Amount of colours
- Large pans
- Large mirror
- Blend well
- Easily build up
CONS:
- Availability
- Not overly pigmented (i find that a good thing)
- Some are more matte but its meant to be a shimmer palette (again i dont mind this)
- Some a little chalky
Lacura beauty Define Contour Palette $10.00
Another Palette for only $10. This one comes with 2 contouring shades, one warmer tone which is great for bronzing and one cooler tone which is great for the shadow you create under the cheekbone. It also comes with 2 highlighting shades a white shimmery sheen and a pink shimmery sheen which are great for the top of the cheekbones and nose, lip and chin for a natural glow. I use the contouring shades more as i love that you can build the colour up and not look muddy from apply too much to start with. The highlighting ones are a tiny bit chalky but ive seen wayy worse. It has a massive mirror on it also so great for travelling.
PROS:
- Price
- Massive mirror
- Great tones
- Blendable
- Can build up colour easily
CONS:
- Availability
- Highlight tiny bit chalky
Lacura Beauty Makeup Brushes, Contour brush $10 and Highlight/blending brush $8:
Again prices unreal. I use the contouring brush everyday and find it very similar to real techniques one. I have only washed once but they held up great and i havent had shedding with them at all. They are very soft and blend product well.
PROS:
- Price
- Quality
- Blend well
- Soft
CONS:
- Availability
Overall i am extremly happy with this brand and cant wait to try more. Again they are from Aldi but get them asap as im not sure how long they will be stocked for. Hope this helps.
